The Green Zebra Winter 2018 Soup Club!
This winter, Chef Lindsay Steinberg McGrail has created eight delicious seasonal recipes to satisfy all of your senses. Join the Green Zebra Fall Soup Club and make these soups the centerpiece of your weekly meals.
Add our fresh breads and/or salads with dressing and your choice of protein to create a satisfying lunch or dinner for you and yours!
8 Weeks of Delicious Soup!
Local Sherried Mushroom Bisque – Delicious local mushrooms from Craig and Sara at Little Sprout Farm are sautéed with onions, celery and herbs, blended with our homemade vegetable stock, and finished with a bit of dry Sherry to create a winter favorite.
Turkey Sopa De Lima – The popular Mayan poultry and citrus soup found all along the Yucatan Peninsula has come to Rochester, made with our homemade turkey stock, chucks of turkey, veggies and savory spices. Very healthy and satisfying!
Vegetarian Hot and Sour Soup – A Chinese favorite loaded with tofu, mushrooms, bamboo shoots and local carrot and onion.
Matzoh Ball Soup – Jewish comfort food!! Our homemade chicken soup with carrots, fluffy matzoh dumplings and fresh dill.
Beef Barley – A rich and flavorful homemade beef stock with savory herbs, vegetables, and plump barley that will warm the coldest winter evenings.
Local Potato and Leek Soup – A French favorite made with Williams farm potatoes and Fisher Hill Farm leeks, and finished with bright fresh dill and chives.
Minestrone – A hearty Italian stew of vegetables and beans in an herby tomato- parmesan broth. One of our Winter staples!
Local Broccoli and Cheddar Soup – The Farm Bridge New York Sate local broccoli blended with Cuba Cheese sharp cheddar and a touch of cream creating a rich and hearty meal.
How it Works
Each week, Chef Lindsay Steinberg McGrail prepares a fresh soup for you to pick up or have delivered to your home or office. Each quart of soup is 4 cups and serves 2-3 people. The first soup delivery begins on Tuesday January 9th and continues every Tuesday for eight (8) weeks with the last delivery on February 27th. Delicious!
What it Costs
The all-inclusive cost of $110 includes eight (8) weeks of soups available for pick up at our Fairport location ( 540 Whitney Ave Fairport, NY 14450 ) every Tuesday between 4:30 pm and 6:00 pm.
8 weeks of delivery is available for an additional $50, but delivery is limited so don't hesitate!

Choose from 1 or 2 quarts and select Add to Cart. Then if you would like to add additional items, be sure to select Continue Shopping
on the Payment screen, and then you can choose which you would like, and again click Add to Cart. From there you can finalize the order and pay anyway you would like to!
